I am Chef! / Celebration at Okeechobee Steakhouse
Hello, Hello, Hello! Hope your all doing well, I am great! As of March 22, 2012 I am a Chef and I've got the paper to prove it. These past few weeks have been arduous getting the last of my assignments in and taking finals, but I did it and now I sit here in front of my computer a Chef, awesome! As I struggled through the weeks with my final assignments, I told my friends that once I was done I was going out to celebrate. I wanted to go somewhere I hadn't been to before, so a friend suggested the Okeechobee Steakhouse and invited herself along, she said the ambiance was "low key" and the food was great so it didn't take long for me to decide that was where I would go. Once we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly hostess and the lights dimmed low, I felt very comfortable and ready to sit down, relax, have a drink and try something new. At the top of my list was the "Escargot" , I couldn't wait to try it, then the French onion soup and a steak. Below find some photos of my celebration with friends, the bigger celebration will happen sometime in June, that's when the graduation ceremony takes place. Enjoy!
